I found Ms. Evans to be a disappointment as a mediator. She did not understand the financial issues and was unwilling to listen to explanations. She also would not spend time addressing several issues I wished to discuss. She gave me the impression that she was the judge who decided, not a concerned listener who was trying to find a compromise. Also, she had no ideas on how to bridge any gaps. She sat in judgment rather than showing empathy or providing creative solutions. A disappointment, to be sure.
