I was very surprised by the contrast between Naveed’s initial friendly phone call and the challenges my husband and I had trying to work with him. We hired him as tenants in a landlord/tenant dispute. We initially paid him to review our lease, then for a letter to our former landlord. Despite the high fee for reviewing, he did not sound prepared when we discussed it on the phone and the letter was late. However, we decided to move forward with a retainer fee rather than finding a different lawyer. when we paid the retainer fee, he disappeared. We only got a 5-minute phone call out of the month we paid for and had to make decisions on our own.
