I hired Sam Jones, who included Isaac Sarinana, Boanne Wassink to interpret a document for me; I felt they OMITTED important information that altered the entire decision process for me. In my opinion they ERRORED in serving a party effectively that they admitted to also, and they billed for lunches as "disbursements" on my invoice until I caught it. Sam also back charged me for 2 phone conversations I had BEFORE I hired them when he was trying to gain my business. He states they are the best... IN MY OPINION THEY ARE INCOMPETENT. They offered to refund my fees but then after I felt that they felt like they were "safe" they then billed for the entire amount. Then when questioned on what I felt was their errors and omissions they WOULD NOT answer they just withdrew. BE AWARE!!!

Megan Merritt has been extremely difficult to work with throughout active litigation. In my experience, she repeatedly disregarded procedural fairness and professional courtesy. She filed and relied on a deposition transcript despite my timely requests to review and correct it, and she moved for summary judgment while outstanding discovery requests remained unanswered. Requested discovery materials were not produced within the required timeframes, yet filings proceeded as though the record were complete. Communication felt one-sided and dismissive of legitimate procedural objections. Rather than engaging in good-faith discovery or resolving issues cooperatively, her approach appeared overly aggressive and premature, creating unnecessary procedural disputes. This was a frustrating and stres

If you’re looking for someone to listen to your side and advocate for you, avoid Rachel Laborde. I had a bad feeling about her after our first interactions as she showed unprepared to our meeting. When I voiced my concerns to her about feeling unsupported by my own attorney, she spent an hour (which she billed me for) trying to convince me to remain her client. Fast forward 2 months in, she had used nearly all of my $5k retainer and had made minimal progress in my case. Do not waste your time and money here!

Kevin Caster and Kate Thorne have been incredible to work with. Kevin (a partner) gave me a call back based on a voicemail and gave me advice and guidance on how to pursue a claim against a contractor. Then he assigned Kate Thorne to our case. Kate’s preparation, knowledge, experience and temperament showed immediately during the first hearing and continued to the very end. I consider myself lucky to have met them both and wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again for dealing with contractor issues.

Called off of a referral. Referred attorney was booked to far out so the receptionist referred me to rachel who apparently had time to set up a consult. The consult was 45 minutes and cost $200 and the secretary was very prompt in setting this up. After talking to Rachel she advised that she would need a $7500.00 retainer to get involved in my custody case. Then she never called me back after I got the retainer and I left messages with her, her secretary, and the receptionist who told me they couldn't reach anybody on her floor. I feel as if the consult was a scam , and when I asked for a refund since she has been unreachable, the receptionist told me she would send a message to Rachel's floor but could do nothing else. All this firm did was break my bank even further during an already dif
