I’ve been using Ray Severing as my attorney for 30 years in all Real Estate matters and he is quite simply the very best. Trustworthy, ethical, thoughtful and caring. Kudos as well to Susan.

As first time home buyers Ray did the absolute minimum as our attorney. Our closing date was fumbled by a month and when we did close it seemed that the sellers attorney was not notified about the location. When we expressed concerns about why things were not going the way we expected during the process and asked for an explanation we were outright ignored. While Susan was helpful over the phone and prompt in her email replies, I wish we had chosen a lawyer who was a bit more attentive. At closing Ray did no introductions and acted defensive when we had questions. His conduct was impersonal, and while he generally explained each document, he did little to signal that he understood how important and substantial this process was for us. Look elsewhere for a buyers attorney in the Hudson Vall

Said our deal for some undeveloped property was "too complicated" for him and "really all we do is rubber stamp" (his words not mine). Would not recommend if you want someone thoughtful and helpful!

Ray was very helpful with buying and selling property. He's assisted me with expert advice numerous times.

Ray and Susan are excellent. Have been working with them successfully for 20 years
