I started working with Selis Law Firm in 2022 to develop Estate Planning documents for my mother-in-law. All went smoothly and they even brought the docs to her residence to sign. My mother-in-law recently passed away, and a couple of items had to go through probate. Selis Law, specifically Anneliesse, explained the steps and answered all of our questions, many we didn't know to ask. She was delightful to work with and her experience with the probate process led to completing probate in a few weeks, not months.

Avoid this law firm. Went to them for a simple "Lady Bird Deed" (transfer of a house deed to beneficiary's upon owners death). After two weeks I checked with Flagler county clerks office to ensure the deed had been filed. It had not been. Good thing I checked. I called Tiffany, the paralegal I worked with for follow up. The only thing she could confirm was that the deed had not been filed. She assured me she would call back after looking into it. She did not call and the deed has still not been filed. There are too many attorneys that can do this work. It is a very simple process, only requiring basic beneficiary information and filing with the county, cost was $380. "Lady Bird " deed , very simple one, 2 pages.What was done efficiently ? The speed of charging us $360( 330 office charge and $30 county filing fee which actually was less than $11) .Paperwork signed on January 12 2026.Waited for result for over a month -nothing.Messaged Tiffany-no reply.Called office on February 16-was told that we will get notified when original will arrived.Nothing for days.Called county court clerk a week later-was told that deed was registered on the February 18th( 2 days after we contacted law office)..! Waited another 2 weeks-nothing again .Called law office -some woman over the phone told us that she will call county to find out, told her that we already did after which she promised to talk to "coordinator" and get back to right away.Nothing again.Unprofessional
