I was recommended to this law office by another attorney. It all started well, was asked to give a 3500 dollar up front payment and was told it should cover the start to finish process of the estate. After getting to the end, I knew the office assistant had done a lot of work so I mentioned I would be happy to pay a little extra for anything they might need to add. He sends me a bill triple the size of the retainer!! 7900 dollars he is asking for?! His itemized lists, he charges 35 dollars for email responses, even if the response was a single word! He charges ridiculous amounts for taking a phone call for a question. I would avoid this place like the plague, unless you want to be charged double or triple what you were quoted. I had an excellent experience with Pam Yee on contract review and negotiation for a commercial real estate deal. I reached out to Pam at a time of desperate need -- it was Friday morning, and we had a contract that needed attorney review by Monday and we didn't have an attorney.
