I hired Sarah on July 29th for an ex parte order. Over the next six weeks, she never filed the motion and rarely responded to my messages. On the few occasions she did reply, she assured me she would be filing, but nothing ever happened. I ultimately had to fire her in mid-September. What stood out most was how quickly she contacted me to collect payment, but once she had my money, it felt like she hoped I would simply forget I had hired her. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience.
