On August 5, 2024, I paid $600 in advance retainer. This attorney didn’t go to court with me and he didn’t give me any legal advice and he didn’t send me a statement of the “services and hours” that he “spent” on my case, and he won’t return my phone calls! Without that statement of fees, I can’t even dispute the attorney fees. Now he won’t refund my money that I gave to him in good faith. Before you give an attorney money, make sure you get a statement of fees. I guess he’s too broke and thinks he needs the money more than me, which is not true, I need that $600! I’ve submitted a complaint to the Oklahoma Bar Association. I might take him to small claims, but I live far away from Duncan, OK, - what a hassle! Don’t hire him without getting something in writing upfront!

Should not even have given 1 star. Hired him one year ago. Paid a deposit. Him and his secretary gave excuse after excuse. Went on numerous vacations, probably on everyone's deposits. I know I'm not the only one going through this. Only had to take some papers to the courthouse across the street and couldn't get that done probably bc the vacations. Have called numerous times been told it would be done each time. At this point I could have done it myself and saved myself the money. Would never recommend this fraud.

I wish I could leave no stars. In every way a lawyer could fail, he did. No communication, never called back, never returned any form of email, fax, texts, nothing, was paid for a divorce where it was all out into his and his “secretary “ hands, didn’t argue against anything, let the defendant have everything, and then said his client was unreachable… in court he didn’t stand for what he said he would and rolled on his on client!!! Awful!!! This man did nothing but let it be a default divorce, in which that being the only thing he “accomplished”. Then after 6 months of hearing nothing and going to his office in person, his secretary says divorce decree was filed sept 28, 2022 and didn’t even have a copy!!! (Don’t know how she has anything in the stacks of paper there either) Not sure what

He is one of the best lawyer he is god fearing and always gets the job done

Gives excuses after another, will tell you how they had to deal with another client when they have a scheduled meeting, a mess of an office probably why it takes forever for them to accomplish small tasks, ohh and will never call you back...
