My Autistic and mentally ill son was sentenced to 6 YEARS due to Ed pressuring him into signing an open plea for an escape and resisting charge, knowing full well that it was due to a Severe panic attack/fight or flight response.! Ed actually Yelled at me at an appointment with my son! He also used vulgar language to put down another practicing attorney in the area! I feel Mr.Ruiz is a bully and will say Anything to get your money..

Court dragged on for just under 2 years, ive seen him 5 times during this time. Most of those times was to give me a new date. He told me he started reading my case and it was a boring read. The man calls me tells me I have a plea deal I agree to take only to drive 30 min there and the deal not be what we discussed. Stay away from this guy and use youre money where it will get you better results. For those who get him as a public defense i would immediately ask or file for a new 1.
