Communication was consistently poor throughout the process. We were asked to submit the same set of documents on three separate occasions, despite having provided them weeks earlier. Overall, the team appeared disorganized, and there were multiple errors that should have been caught through basic review. The Settlement Statement included duplicate charges that would have resulted in us being billed twice for the same item. In addition, their contracts and paperwork did not appear to be thoroughly proofread, which is a serious concern in a transaction of this size. They also failed to communicate effectively with our lender, leaving them without updates for weeks. This delayed the funds payout to us after this property was closed. Unprofessional and Negligent Closing Experience I had one of the worst experiences closing with RS Johnson Legal P.C. They had over a month to prepare for closing, yet the day of closing was full of confusion, delays, and costly mistakes. A week before closing, one of their associates called to get authorization to contact my mortgage company about my loans, so I assumed everything was properly handled. My closing was scheduled for 12:30 PM, but didn’t start until almost 1:15 PM. The buyer wasn’t even present, and I was told I could sign and leave. Hours later, I received a call saying they had “missed another loan” on my title. This was shocking because they had already called me a week prior about accessing my loans. I don’t normally leave reviews but today i got time… how in the Sam hell are you charging $300 for a consultation to add a name to a title?? Ridiculous!!! Of If I already know exactly what I need and how the process goes what would we even consult about?? Not to mention I the. Would have to pay you to file the title!! Pure and utterly absurd! Do better! Be better!
