Hired this firm to handle a civil lawsuit, was told it would cost between 15 to 20 thousand to fight. After 11600 dollars was paid for just an answer, affirmative defense, and counter claim in just 2 1/2 months. After that i was told it would cost an additional 30 to 45 thousand dollars. I was tapped out at that point. Reached out 10 months later to see if he could at least help throgh the rest of the process on basically a contingency but wouldn't. Feel like they tell you a price for the whole case and then keep adding to it leaving you out to dry with no recourse.

Steve is highly respected in the community and it shows with how he provides services. I would recommend seeking his advice for legal matters.

I worked with him for my divorce many years ago. I believe he has the best interest at heart however did not listen to certain requests which caused issues with the soon to be X and his family which was not good with a child involved. Other thing that was questionable was he and my soon to be X’s attorney rode together to Court as it was not in Olmsted County.

I called for a consultation and Mr Rolsch was the rudest attorney I have came into contact with. He misunderstood something I said and asked if I have talked to anyone else and I said yes I have a meeting with one. His response was oh good go for it. He would not even meet with me to understand my case. I would never send anyone to deal with this attorney.

Seven months into my custody battle (and a ridiculous $22K with little to show for it), Steve started ignoring all communication. He then suddenly withdrew from my case during a VERY critical time in my case leaving me with no Atty or money. I am obviously NOT happy with his services and don't recommend him. His legal assistant however, is great!
