Mr. Slayton did a great job in handling my divorce and custody. Though not everything went my way, it was all handled with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail from the start. He and his staff always displayed a genuine concern for the case, and for me, during the entire process. Divorce is a lousy time for all involved. Mr. Slayton handled it all with excellence. I highly recommend him.

My guess is the negative reviews are from people who wanted the world, but wouldn't do their part. Rod and Wendy are GREAT people who genuinely care about the best interest and will fight, but be smart about it. You can't go wrong!

I went to do a consultation with Mr. Slayton which I paid for btw for a custody case regarding my grandson who is still to this day in the care of a woman who is not biologically related to him. I paid Mr. Slayton the $1,500 retaining fee, which he cashed immediately. However he failed to notify the courts, GAL and opposing party for 3 weeks! I happened to go by the court house only to find out they had no attorney listed for me, I had to call him and tell him to notify all parties! Then I had an emergency situation where this woman brought the biological mother in from out of state who is a crystal meth addict. I HAD to tell HIM to request a exparty hearing and it took him over a week to get it to the court and he did it by mail! My trial date was set for a Monday, he finally calls me Thu

Some how just now found out my name is on an eviction notice even though I dont even live in that county. Now thanks to rob this most likely will hit my credit.... I dont live in the home I have nothing to do with it, is his office and him really that bad at failing paper work ?????
