If I could give zero stars, I would. I am a U.S. Marine, and I trusted this lawyer with my mother’s immigration case. That was the worst mistake we could have made. My mother, Ursula had an outstanding removal order from 2005. Any competent immigration attorney would know the first step should have been to address that order before filing anything else. Instead, this lawyer filed an I-131 for Parole in Place (PIP) — a complete waste of time and money because that application was never going to be accepted with the old removal order still in place. When I confronted him, he admitted that my mother “never told him” to file the I-131 — as if it’s the client’s job to know the legal process. She came to him because he’s supposed to be the expert.
