I sold a house this year and the sellers used the company for the closing. Apparently the sellecrs had a legal plan through their employer and this was the attorney they found. A week before the closing, I set up a time with my lawyer to sign all of the paperwork a couple days before closing and they informed the sellers attorney. When I went to sign my paperwork, the sellers attorney had not sent over any of the papers. I signed a power of attorney and several documents with my attorney anyway so that things would go smoothly. On the day of closing, the sellers attorney would not accept the industry standard documents I signed and required me to take time off work to drive to a notary to complete the closing.
