I worked with Mr. Thum for 18 months during a difficult custody case and appeal. Working with Mr. Thum you have to have thick skin; he does not sugar coat things and tell you what you want to hear. He is honest, fair, and I am very thankful I had him in my corner.

He got what needed to be done fine for an uncontested simple divorce but didn't explain things well at times and was quite rude at times when questions were asked. Once 30 minutes was spent on the phone asking about something he didn't explain well and every time he repeated the same thing when clearly it wouldn't be asked again (even in different ways) if what he was saying made any sense. He got irritated, raised his voice, makes you feel stupid, changed his tone to nice in 1 second when it was finally given up on & then charged for the 30 minute phone call. Minimal interaction was chosen because of this and questions weren't asked because of not wanting to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a waste of time.

Absolutely professional and helpful. Mr. Thum is conscientious and helpful for your situation. Divorce and custody can be extremely emotional and Mr. Thum will help you look at things in a rational way. Highly recommend and worth it.
