R. Timothy Bickhaus Attorney at Law

I was seeking an attorney to represent me as personal representative of my mother's estate. Several early leads pulled out when it was clear the estate was small. Tim Bickhaus did not. He met with me promptly, worked the estate through probate with efficiency, and was always responsive by email or phone call to my questions (I live out of state). I found Tim to be no-nonsense but courteous; I appreciate his crisp, to-the-point correspondence. Finally, if Tim said he'd do something, he did–you can count on his word. If I lived in the Macon area and had need for an attorney, Tim would be my immediate go-to.

Tim handled our estate planning as well as other legal issues. He's also done work (estate planning, etc) for a couple of other members of my family. Always professional, concise, cheerful and fairly priced, I'm 100 percent happy with the job that he did. I'm sure we will at some point use his services again

Spends a little too much time on social media attacking strangers and praising Trump for my taste. He frequently calls people he disagrees with “demonrats” on his public page. Lovely. In his public response to my critique of calling people he disagrees with demons, Tim decided calling all of Columbia Missouri “hippie town” was the way to regain the moral high ground. This guy doesn’t have the professionalism or emotional maturity to handle making himself a sandwich, much less handle important financial matters for you.

Tim represents my office and has also done some personal things. He does a fantastic job! Very quick and though. Always makes himself available for advice. He knows estate law better than anyone.

Mr Bickhaus provided our family with a family trust for estate planning purposes. He walked us through step by step and worked up an excellent estate plan. We appreciate the personal attention we received and will use him in the future if we need advice. Professional, attentive, thorough!!!
