This is definitely not to place you want to go to If you're in trouble. just decline legal aid and the court will appoint you to a different attorney from another firm. Fred Clarke Is a divorce attorney.... That's all I have to say.

I mediate in Putnam County, and have found Legal Aid to be responsive, understanding, and competent. It is an important distinction to draw between not getting the result you want and the incompetence of counsel. Theirs is a very, very difficult job, they are always up against opposing counsel with more resources, more time, and most often a more cooperative client. There is a responsibility that you have as a client, and I have seen it more often than not whereby the outcome of any litigation is as effected by client performance as anything else.

Awesome people that really care here! My lawyer fought for me harder than any paid lawyer I've ever. I'm am totally grateful for John's service to me. He really helped me when my chips were down. The integrity was impeccable!!!

The case started on March 6, 14. To this day May 13, with a court date on June 6 I have yet to really speak in depth to my lawyer. For two weeks I have been trying to reach him and NO response. I'd like to know how in the heck I won't lose my case. It seems the decision will be based solely on a forensic evaluation. At no point have I have the chance to show who I am and what I'm doing now. Legal Aid is a let down and so is the system!!!

The one lawyer I had acted like a child. He never looked at my case and asked me questions but would not let me speak. Then he wanted to know why I had nothing to say! The women in the office talk behind (in front) of the clients backs like they are not even people. They should not be in business!!
