I can’t recommend Troy enough. I hired Troy to help my navigate my landlord that was wrongfully trying to evict me over my neighbor making false reports to management. I know when I was on the hunt for the right lawyer I read hundreds of reviews to understand the type of lawyer so I will also explain my situation that Troy helped me with. Ghosted by an attorney. I guess that's 2025 America...cruddy landlords and no one to protect us from them. I was handed off to Troy through a referral from an eviction defense group after being surprised by an eviction summons based on rent and fees that I had already paid. He called immediately and after some phone tag he emailed me asking me to confirm the details he was given (including proof of payment) and stated that if he understood correctly, the case should be dismissed immediately and his fee would be paid by the Property Manager. I have dealt with more than a few Lawyers for different business matters. Troy and his team are great. Just make sure you bring all the information and listen to him. If it can be done he will do it for you. His team helped me with a few issues with a past landlord and managed to secure a reasonable settlement. I was just able to wrap up a lawsuit with Troy's help. While it was a hellish year of living in the property of an incompetant and malicious landlord, Troy made the entire lawsuit process so easy. We were able to consult with him quickly to see if we had a case, his agreement was straightforward and easy to understand. He was responsive when the unexpected came up and really knew how to layman's terms the legalese of it all for me.
