My experience with Gene Carlino and his firm was deeply frustrating and overwhelmingly negative. In my opinion, the level of communication was unacceptable — I was constantly left waiting for call-backs that never came and emails never answered. We were in the middle of negotiations for land and Gene decided to never respond for 6 months a court order was issued to finally get a response. I also felt that the handling of the estate was chaotic and poorly managed, and the billing I received contained what I know were multiple mistakes confirmed by Ellen in office. It is important when dealing with this firm to review billing in detail- postage error of $500 found and more. As someone who was represented by Gene, I can truly say they go above and beyond the normal. I have read recent reviews and I can say most of the last review was a load of lies. If you are not the client, then lawyers should not be giving you any information about a case. But I guess you can have money but not knowledge. Horrible. The front desk was so unprofessional. If the front office is bad. Then the attorney are probably worse. DONOT RECOMMEND.

I have known Attorney Matt Reeber for over 20 years. We have collaborated many times on multi-state legal issues and he has always demonstrated the utmost professionalism, skill and care for his clients.

We have been customers of Gene Carlino for almost 20 years. He did our trusts for us. We have been trying to get together with him for an appointment for the last year. He has canceled on us 3 times. He never tried to reschedule and never gave us any reason for the cancelations. The last time it happened, there was a wind advisory that day. My husband joked that Gene would cancel again. Sure enough, someone from his office called and canceled within a couple hours of the appointment. There were no excuses nor any offer to reschedule us or try to fit us in. Needless to say, we were very disappointed in Gene Carlino and the fact that his long time clients don't seem to matter to him.
