If I could give no stars, I would. We closed on a house as the buyers in 2025. Come to find out our taxes were done incorrectly as the seller was a flipper and did not have homestead exemption on the property. The seller should have owed more in taxes due to this, but it was missed by the attorneys. My husband and I realized this a few months after closing and when we brought it up to Pacific Law, they essentially said it wasn’t their issue to deal with. For context, the flipper uses this law group consistently for closings, so it’s obviously in Pacific Law’s best interest to keep doing closings with them.
