I have used Mr. Mckinney for my own estate trust as well as one for a friend who has succumbed to debilitating dementia. I recently had to take over my friend's power of attorney and everyone at this law firm has been incredibly caring, patient and helpful throughout this frustrating transition. They are always there for me no matter how trite my questions are. I happily give this firm my 100% recommendation! ♥

Unfortunately, they are unable to provide any services other than simple rubber stamped documents. Mr. Jacobs commented that he just didn't have the bandwidth for something like this right now. Apparently, they are greatly understaffed. I used this firm in the past for my mother's estate but required immediate assistance with my father. Huge disappointment that they were unwilling to help. Also, it would have been nice if they would have called and cancelled the appointment vs wasting our time by coming to the office. He was prepared to say no before we even sat down as he already had a hand written list of referrals ready for us.

Extremely disapponted. They made it so important that I get the paperwork to them a week before my appointment. I figured it was to give the attorney time to review it. Wrong assumption. She was 10 minutes late for the appointmtment and then went through every piece of paper while I sat there. Really?? Got no good advice about protecting my Mom's assests.

This firm has helped me navigate the challenges of dealing with one parent's death and the other's long-term care with equal amounts of professionalism and caring for over a year now. Every last member of the firm is well-versed in elder law and responsive to clients. I have nothing but the utmost respect and gratitude for the assistance and advice they have provided. I would higly recommend them to anyone who might find themselves in the same situation with elderly parents.
