Steve S. was A COMPLETE WASTE...worst excuse of a lawyer. Did absolutely NOTHING to help me with child custody. After I fired him, I consulted with numerous other lawyers who Informed me that I should have fired him from the start because all he did was take my money! During mediation he never spoke. During the hearing he misread facts I had written down for him to relay to the judge! I gave him profe that my ex husband made false allegations against me, yet Steve did nothing. Literally nothing. DO NOT HIRE THEM!

I went to Leigh Ann Orton for legal advice during a particularly difficult period in my life. Not only was she very professional, but sympathetic and took a personal approach towards me. Terrible and unprofessional. I was referred to this firm by a lawyer friend who works with Chris, so I expected a smooth process. I had a scheduled phone conference with Chris on a particular day/time. I called exactly on time and was told Chris was in a meeting (even though I had one scheduled). The receptionist wanted me to call back in an hour to see if he was available then?? I told him to call me when he's done with the meeting. Four days go by, and still no call back. I call again - Chris is in another meeting. Again, she wants me to call back to check to see if he's available. I said no, and for him to call me back. This went on three times! They never called back and obviously did not want my business. I strongly do not recommend Orton and Orton. Terrible experience before we even

Worst experience. Hired Stephen srnka for a modification of custody. He did nothing insisted doing everything by E-mail never able to meet up.. no real knowledge of custody modification laws called to talk to the Orton's told them of atty srnka that he did nothing. Never spoke up against anything. Honestly I don't think an you one in that firm could handle much more than maybe a simple closing. Leigh Anne and Chris both totally shrugged my complaint off. That firm robbed us blind. Did nothing for my case.
