Reading the reviews , it's obvious that different clients had various experiences with Ben Oleen. Let me tell you about ours. The counsel Ben demonstrated was extremely unprofessional, lacking any form of communications , including the refusal to take or return our calls , and an indifference to our concerns, regarding our very sensitive case. It was clear the secretary often made excuses for Ben when we called the office desiring information the status of our situation. He took our money , but did very little to resolve our situation. It took several attempts to get a statement of our account balance to the point we had to put in writing a firm request to know where our legal issues and account balance stood. We believe the statement we finally received was put together at the last minute

I really appreciate that Mr Oleen took the time to talk to me on the phone, I had called Morrison Frost and they won't even give you 5 minutes on the phone, or any advice. Lawyers should know that one time we might just need some basic advice and a few years later when we REALLY need a lawyer who will we turn to? Those who gave us a bit of time to help for free (just 10 mins or less) or those who ask administrators to relay messages that "he can't help. you with that". I have had to deal with my share of lawyers in my time, and the ones that will give you a tiny bit of advice on the phone for 5 minutes just to give you the "lay of the land" with your issue, see if it is even worth hiring a lawyer are the ones I like. Personally I have found the law offices in Topeka to be very helpful and

My experience with Oleen Law Firm has been nothing but posititve. I experienced professional & competent attorneys. It is evident that they care about their clients very much. They've been established in Manhattan for as long as I can remember and after working with them, I know why.

The website was written in a way that made it seem like this firm cared about child support issues. The phone consultation confirmed otherwise. I didn't feel like the person I spoke to really cared about some of the questions I had and instead just peppered me with questions like I was some kind of person on the stand in a courtroom. I understand they were giving me some of their time for free, but when the second question they ask you is where you work and how much you make, and then proceed to talk about their fees, you can tell they devalue you and are only interested in making money and not interested in the merits of the case itself. But I do appreciate the ONE bit of free advice they gave me. Thanks for that I guess!
