I almost lost my home due to covid and depression from working from home. Northwest Justice project found a grant and got my mortgage caught up. The process is long but they notify your mortgage company to let them know that you are working with them so it is on hold. The process took 6 months and correspondence was usually through text or email. Be sure to send paystubs and follow what they say but i’m thankful to NJP for helping me at my lowest keep my house.

Everything was fast, nice and professional, but you have to call and arrange your visit before you go there.

I’ve observed friends, coworkers, tenants and several individuals reach out to The NW Justice Center for assistance regarding their tenant rights and violations made against those rights under WA State RCW 59.18. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME CONTACTING. Nobody within this organization has the education, experience or intelligence to offer ANY assistance. However, they will tell you how they CAN’T help. Save up your money for REAL legal council and tenant right assistance. Plenty of great WA State Attorneys I can refer. Don’t hesitate to reach out!

You can never get through to them on the phone because they're only open 3 hours a day. Everything is automated over the phone & I can't get through to a person. I guess I'll just have to call at 9:15 & hope for the best. My boyfriend used NWJP years ago & they were fantastic. They were 5 star all the way. The reason for giving them the rating I did was because I've tried to get a hold of them 3 different days & have had no luck.

I have called the CLEAR line three days in a row right when they open and every time I get a message stating they cannot take my call due to high call volume. I also filled out a form online and have not heard anything. I desperately need legal help and am unsure what other resources I can use. I have tried to get a hold of them now for six months and still can't even talk to a person.
