Northshore Title and Escrow

I closed with Gabby at Northshore Title and it was such a smooth process. I was so scared being a first time home buyer and also buying a for sale by owner that was out of state really had me uneasy. But everyone I spoke to at Northshore Title reassured me everything was going to work out. It’s so hard to trust people these days with all the scams going around. But, they did their best to make sure everything was 100% before closing.

Closing was a hassle with them. They told the buyer and their team along with my real estate agent that the deal had closed when it clearly hadn’t. The title company informed me that I could close with an online notary (I was in another country at the time) but they told me it had to be an approved notary-they never set up an appointment or informed me which notary to use. Instead, they had me sign all other documents except the notarized ones and then proceeded to say the deal was closed to everyone except to me. Buyer was not happy to hear title had lied, kept the buyer’s money in escrow and top of that the buyer had to get a new rate on the loan, which cost about $800. Title didn’t offer to cover this when title was the one that didn’t fulfill their role. Eventually, we did close,

Great experience! Great team! Walked into our closing as first time buyers and everything went smoothly. Hardest part was waiting to get the keys from someone across the table. Haha

They made the closing process as easy as possible and were truly very knowledgeable about everything, answering each question we had.

Closing went smoothly and everyone seemed genuinely happy for me on the purchase of my new home. I enjoyed my experience
