I am out of state, and hired this firm to handle my late sister’s estate in DE. While the paralegal, Laura, was responsive, her communication was often unclear, and several avoidable mistakes occurred. In my one conversation with the partner, Rutt —he came across as arrogant and dismissive. Particularly disappointing was the difference in the fee quoted to complete the process. It ended up being almost double what was originally quoted. I found the explanation of the final increase unclear. When the estate was finally closed, the firm mailed my distribution check via regular first-class mail—a method that took eight days to arrive.
