Monmouth Bar Association

I don't know who to get advice from now? The NJ bar association says contact your local county. We'll, they're just like trying to get help from Temporary Disability, another agency that doesn't pick the phone up or solve any problems. It seems like many public New Jersey agencies are more difficult to get a hold of then trying to contact the president of the USA. This is tragic for people that need help. All the people that are supposed to be working for people that need help, are not helping. That really makes a lot of sense!

They are supposed to function as a REFERRAL Service, to the local Public, not just be a fancy club for lawyers to accreditate them. They are not upholding their obligation. The New Jersey State Bar Association AND appropriate Freehold Courthouse staff (very rude) should be notified & made aware by everybody, as the State Bar refers residents of Monmouth County to this unresponsive Monmouth Bar Association. People need this service desperately and they are not operating properly. After calling and emailing 100 x's someone named Renee will disregard your message/email, leave a 5-second voicemail to "call back"- only for no one to answer again. What a frustrating waste of time & sincere effort. This is not right.

Left multiple messages seeking assistance with an attorney who handles unemployed matters. No response or call backs. No one is even answering the phone during business hours. How are you supposed to assist the public if you don't actually assist them?

Helpful. Had an initial conversation with a lawyer they recommended. He gave me advice on how to proceed with the issue at hand.

They have not answered their phone or returned calls for weeks.
