I retained Eric Miskell for a contested divorce. I was pressured to accept a settlement I did not agree with, and my questions about its long-term consequences were ignored. During a scheduled meeting, I was told to leave and that law enforcement would be contacted if I did not. Because the situation escalated, I contacted 911. Shortly afterward, the firm filed to withdraw, leaving me unrepresented in active litigation. This combination of coercion, lack of engagement, and abrupt withdrawal created significant legal risk. I cannot recommend this firm for anyone who needs diligent, client-focused representation.

My experience with Eric Miskell was very disappointing. He was extremely difficult to get ahold of, rarely answered my questions, and offered little to no guidance or advice. I ended up doing most of the work myself—gathering and preparing everything—just for him to present it in court. When I brought concerns to him, he dismissed me by saying he wasn’t a therapist, rather than giving me professional direction. I would not recommend Eric Miskell if you are looking for an attorney who is responsive, engaged, and willing to truly advocate for you.
