I will start by saying that face to face, Miles was nice and respectful. Through my story you will see why I give him 1 star. Miles was the lawyer that the person buying my house went through. I have not had any contact with him before that. We showed up on Aug 29th to close on our house. Exciting day!! We talk for a few minutes with the buyer and the real estate agents, Miles gets there about two minutes before the meeting is to take place. We were driving the U-Haul with everything we own and the camper we were planning to live in, moving to Virginia that day. While in the meeting, we were told that the wire transfer from the buyer had not gone through yet. He kept checking, but we decided to go ahead with the signing. We were assured it would be there by the time we finished the meeting

Miles is very approachable and down to earth. He is there to help you resolve problems or answer questions in a direct and easily understandable way. He definitely is a rare bird as far as attorneys go, aware of keeping services affordable but not cutting corners.

Miles took care of our real estate closing and we were very happy that we asked him to represent our interests. He performs his services with a fantastic combination of professionalism, experience, knowledge, promptness, integrity, and kindness. He facilitated the closing process with a bit of ceremony, befitting the momentous occasion of our first real estate purchase! Miles handled the closing for a land purchase my wife and I just made. Even though he was going away for a vacation, Miles was able to constantly keep in touch and answer all our questions. After returning to Maine, Miles quickly finished the title search and was able to draw up all our papers in time for our closing. At the closing, Miles was charming and professional. He made all present feel comfortable, patiently listened to all our stories (which often kept him from proceeding with his agenda), and invited us to participate in the symbolic handing over of the deed from the seller to us. Miles recently did a new Will for me including all the documents one should have in preparation for end of life or illness. He made it much easier than I anticipated. He has excellent suggestions without being pushy and all to MY benefit. A month or so later with the help of his expertise in Real Estate he wrote a Purchase and Sale Agreement for me which the buyer accepted easily. He is also helping with the sale of my present home. He is professional but at the same time pleasant and "easy going." I like working with him and I find his rates to be very reasonable in comparison to some others. I highly recommend him
