Literally the worst attorney I’ve ever used. hard to get in contact. super unorganized. takes way longer then he should. bought a house from someone I knew cash deal. they had him starting the process in October of 2024 didn’t close till April 10 2025. didn’t keep any one in the loop. we both used him to do the closing and it still took him forever and when I went to close he still didn’t have everything done on his end. I’ve reached out multiple times to him no reply. I’ve heard from multiple other ppl that have delt with the same issues. I shoulda stuck with my original attorney now I have to hunt all this stuff down and have it corrected thanks Mike. We hired McDermott to handle the simple closing for the sale of our home. He had to pull the abstract, any first year attorney knows how to do a closing. He doesn't return calls to his clients' or to the buyers' attorney. He never pulled the abstract that ended up having a Title issue, through my realtor I learn he is so incompetent he literally had to ask the buyers' attorney how to fix it. Which he never did and didn't even bother to notify us of the problem. If my Realtor hadn't shared with us her email communications we never would have known he wasn't taking care of things.
