I have witnessed a case by Melinda Owens. I am very disappointed in the unprofessional behavior exhibited by her. Her integrity as a lawyer is concerning. Heartbreaking case I have witnessed. I've respected her greatly in our small community for years. That respect is now gone.

Melinda Owens served as the amicus attorney for our custody and divorce case. She took the time to thoroughly research and evaluate what was in the best interest of our child. She carefully reviewed the facts and evidence, remaining impartial and avoiding bias toward either party. Throughout the process, she was highly professional and dedicated to ensuring her recommendations were based solely on what was best for our child. I appreciate her diligence and professionalism in handling our case.

Melinda and Alyssa have literally been the best. Incredibly long hours and updates. This thing has been dragged out way too long because the opposing side is petty and can’t let things go, but they have been so patient and up front about the process with me. They aren’t here to hold your hand. They are here to see you through a situation that is going to be stressful no matter who your attorney or judge is and help you understand it and know the options. We are still in the middle of my case, but it’s not even about winning or losing. Everyone is losing if you are in family court. They have busted their butts for me and made the process much less anxiety-producing by being real, blunt, and honest. Making me laugh through the nonsense. Communicating changes. My wife contacted Ms. Owen’s office last Friday and left a message asking for a call back about getting a will. They never returned her call, so this morning I called the office. I asked about getting an appointment. Her assistant (or whomever answered the call) stated “we don’t do wills at this time.” I said her sign says she does, to which the assistant said “we don’t wills at this time.” I asked what does that mean? Will they do wills in the future? She responded “we don’t do wills at this time.” The office was obviously not interested in talking to me, returning our call, or suggesting another attorney. The assistant was unprofessional and not bothering to return our call a week ago is poor customer relations. Not to mention false advertising, because even today her google ad states

Wow, She isn't supposed to take sides as an amicus, but she does. Melinda Owen's is a complete joke and a very unprofessional woman. She got assigned to be the amicus for our case, and instead of doing the research and paying attention to what would be the best for the child, she listened to the Alcoholic, gold digging , mother( which the mother in court stated she was an alcoholic and has anger issues among other things and the judge ordered the mother to do alcohol classes and anger management classes which she did not do at all ) With documented proof and messages (in which melinda owens is tagged in)stating the mother is unfit and did not follow judges orders etc she still took her side and did not care about what was best for the child. So no, I do not recommend Melinda Owen's at
