This law firm charged me $300 for a $198 past due balance on my HOA account. My account is on auto debit and the HOA is paid monthly I began to incur a balance when the HOA fees were raised twice over the past year. In our system of business ethics I think that 1. Aspen Property Management (my HOA) needs to reevaluate the threshold in which you consider an account delinquent. If active payments are being made is it necessary to send the entire account to collections? 2. McMullen & Dury charge an inflated Attorney Fee for expenses and cost of collection. I am a senior manager and I specialize in regulatory compliance which sometimes deals with resource allocation. I know that the time spent for drawing up boiler plate documents does not equate to $300 worth of work at any reasonable rate. I

Dealing with HOA fees owed (so I see in other reviews with similar experiences, so no wonder these people are miserable). Lied about offering me a payment plan, all my letters state the payment must be received in FULL but yet now that the balance is astronomical they offer a payment plan. Both the women in the office have vile attitudes while lying about Richard Drury not being available to speak. Richard Drury himself only further the lies and nasty attitude. Stay away from these people. They don’t care about anything except money.

I feel this attorneys office has only gone after me for hoa fees that were court ordered for my ex hubby to pay. In 2013 I was arrested and now my bank account has been frozen. I feel like this in a case of good ole boys network since my ex was a hometown athlete. I paid an attorney for my divorce only to realize a court order means nothing

I was dealing with HOA fee owed. My biggest issue is that they lied about serving me. The ethics of Richard Drury is awful. I will be contacting the Bar association. The description of me was in a huge difference. It’s no way I can shrink and I was not 150 and 200 lbs is a huge difference. Additionally I was not residing at the address they claimed to have served me at. I was at work additionally at the time they claimed to have served me. I plan to keep fighting this issue. Anyone that was not served but an judgement was entered against you and you were not aware please reach out to me. Everyone needs to come forward so something can be done about this law firm
