It’s interesting reading a lot of the negative reviews because all of them are coming from the opposite side of cases she has represented - which speaks volumes for her work. Amy McFarland was an absolute godsend to me and my family. Not only me but every referral that I have sent her, they sing her praises. If you want someone that knows how to fight for you, hear your concern, and will advise you regardless of what you want to hear - and will actually tell you the truth because she knows the end result, then this is your attorney. I highly recommend!

For Christ’s sake never let Mary answer questions or have you sign anything. Other than that Amy is a true bulldog and if you aren’t a dumpster fire of a case and person you are highly likely to win in spades. Won me emergency custody of my 5 step boys and 2 girls when mom was having postpartum issues and got my full time with my girls by the end of it. Amy McFarland is the worst, she represented my ex in our custody case. Told him to stop all communication between me and my daughter, the cops call it a civil matter so not much help there. I thought that was illegal for an attorney to do that because I still had visitation. Her end game is adoption. So please be warned. Pay your child support through DHS. Because they don't need your consent to adopt your child out if there is no contact for 12 months. I tried to contact my daughter and he just ignored everything every text and call. I showed up at his house. He signed his rights over to his parents which I learned they will then sign rights back to him. It's a big scam she does. Ms. McFarland has represented me in court several times over the past 3-4 years in divorce/custody cases. There have been times when our communication has been lacking but when it comes time to represent me she’s present 100%. She’s not going to sugar coat anything when she’s talking to you about your case, it can seem harsh but it’s that same quality that makes her so successful in the courtroom. She will fight for you, give it her best and is great at what she does.

Run, Forrest, Run!!! Horrible communication, extreme lack of representation, lazy, doesn't listen, incredibly disrespectful, couldn’t care less, seems to be representing the other side…sure made it easy for the opposing attorney! If you want to lose everything, then by all means hire Amy McFarland.
