The lawyer handling my grandmothers estate is horrible when it comes to communication let alone anything else. I have been trying to have a conversation with him for almost 2 years now. I have left 100 voice mails and many emails asking for any updates. The last time I talked to him he said things were being filed. 6 months in I ask how things or going no response I had to track down the number to the executor through the orphans court (after I contacted other lawyer to see what my options were I was given the court info) just to find out that said paperwork has yet to be filed.
