Spoke with them re a potential case and had a meeting set up to see if they were going to take it. Attorney took lots of details and notes. Asked me if I had some further case notes for him that he could look up but I said I would wait and see if he took the case. Then attorney never called. I called the firm and receptionist stated, “he does not work here.” I called direct number and his assistant said, “he is in a meeting. He will not be able to take the case. I was going to call you. I was busy. I was going to get you some attorney referrals. I didn’t.” If you don’t want the case, politely call at the time set up and let me know. That was rude and a little slimy feeling.
