Had a good experience when buying a house with them, complete opposite when selling. When giving approximate values on the money owed to me (seller), the firm miscalculated my agent’s commission 3 or 4 times - cannot fathom how this happened seeing as it is a set percent of selling cost that can be calculated in seconds. In addition, they forgot about $4000 in miscellaneous costs. To make it worse, there was a fixed, again LOWER, number owed to me after closing because - again - they forgot another fee. So when it was all said and done, I was given an approximate number for money I’d be getting back, told this is the amount give or take $500, when in reality is was give or take $4500. We were searching for a well reviewed commercial real estate attorney in the south suburbs. We were impressed by Brady’s reviews. Unfortunately, we did not have this experience. The lack of follow up and execution was extremely frustrating. Luckily the transaction was completed. But this firm was not helpful.

I would not recommend this law group I used them during the sell of my home and it was a horrible experience. I closed on my home and a month after closing the law group began emailing me saying they were shorted money. I just kept thinking we closed over a month ago not to mention we reviewed the master statement before closing, how did that happen? They didn’t call either just casually emailed me as if it was normal. The buyer was also supposed to get a home warranty and they didn’t make sure it was taken out at closing now almost two months later they are requesting I send the buyers attorney a check for that.
