Ok I’m glad I’m not the only one dealing with this! I have a payment arrangement with them for $25 a month, I’ve been paying over that amount some months $100 and some months $50. I get a letter in the mail stating they’re taking me to court! I hope they enjoy meeting my lawyer! These people got my mom for a bunch of money on a debt back in the day, same thing she was paying and I guess they thought she would get income tax so around the same timeframe they sent a garnishment letter! At this point they’re in breach of contract and I will be visiting the judge tomorrow morning bright and early!

Between 11 AM and 2 PM I received a call and voicemail from their collection agent, Shannon (ext. 121). The call was escalated to a “supervisor,” yet somehow no one could do the one basic thing they’re legally supposed to do: verify the debt. They admitted they could not provide written validation, yet continued pushing payment options anyway. They also claimed I had previously been sent a “verification letter.” It was not. It was a generic payment notice with an amount and an original creditor name. That is not debt validation. Meanwhile

Communication is ok . Just getting started with them . Waiting on requested documents. Seem to be nice and not using bullying or strong arm tactics at this time. Will update as my case moves forward. Payment plan was easy to set up..now no request for documentation has been sent attempting to slip billing or cram there fees in without my opertunity to dispute. A report has been filed with BBB.now dec 24 i was notified that anther letter was sent with amounts they claim i owe for there legal fees plus interest. They were attempting to cram or slip bill fees not of the original amount claimed .

Got garnishment on a 21 year old debt I knew nothing about. Not my debt From an address I haven't lived at in 22 years. No notice. No paperwork Statue of limitations in my state is 3 years on credit card debt. Just a money grab by a dishonest firm. I filed a complaint with consumer protection and they are 1st firm on web site for complaint

This company never sent me anything in the mail. They apparently sent it to an address that I no longer lived at. So instead of notifying me directly of this debt, they took it to court and garnished my wages. Instead of working with me directly, they decided to be a little sneaky, fish and ruin a person. My paychecks went down to $300 and I’m about to lose my house. I hope these people are satisfied with ruining peoples lives. EDIT. I paid the original judgment of almost $2500. I had a zero balance for over a month and a half. I then get a letter today a month and a half later that they added more money to what is owed of $538 without my knowledge. So they’re going to continue to add money every six months. The lady was rude That I spoke to. She basically just said well it’s your fault.
