My family has had an ongoing court case in Hamilton, AL since 2021. Every time we turned around they wanted more money, they literally drained us dry. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. I hired Lonnie Spann for a non-contested divorce. While he was very quick to take payment, he was extremely slow to do anything else. What should have been a straightforward process ended up taking 18 months to finalize. After both parties had already signed, it still took an additional 9 months before the case was closed by the judge. During this time, Mr. Spann would not return my emails or phone calls, and I was left completely in the dark about the status of my case. I ultimately learned the divorce was finalized only after contacting another lawyer and threatening to report him to the Bar due to his lack of professionalism.
