Lenawee County Friend of Court

I haven't been able to reach anyone at this courthouse in weeks. Left over half dozen messages with no return call. Wonder if the tax payers over there know thier officials are napping or not showing up to work. I would not be happy if I lived there plus it's tiny. How hard can it be to pick up a phone or call your messages back? Apparently, very difficult.

Absolute waste of tax payers money. From the director down... all minimum effort employees. Lenawee County needs DOGE.

They never answer the local phone. You're better off going in but prepare to wait since there is barely ever a person at the front desk

It is a low crime area. There is quite a bit of historic buildings. Also there are quite a few businesses in the city. A great experience all around.

Friendly people, I don't like that a Judge does two kinds of jobs. If it is a Judge who does criminal justice than that is what they should do not do both jobs for criminals and custody court. Should have a Judge for each department "that means different Judges for different types of cases" have a Judge for traffic cases a Judge for criminal cases and a Judge for Custody cases. Just my opinion.
