Legal Aid of Southeastern PA - Norristown Office, Montgomery County

I contacted this organization seeking legal assistance. At no point was I provided a formal intake. I was not asked what county I resided in, no eligibility screening was conducted, and no case file was opened. Despite this, I was advised over multiple days via text message by a staff member, Katya M., who only identified herself as a paralegal after repeated questioning. During this time, legal guidance was provided without an intake, eligibility determination, or attorney involvement, and without any formal documentation, intake number, or referral. All communication occurred off-system via text message, from a phone number not clearly associated with the organization, including contact outside of normal business hours. Guy and kayta are absolutely horrible. I thought they were going to helping my disabled son. They might even try to hurt my feelings more because I'm writing this. Guy did not veiw anything my son had. When my son try to advocate his right to have me by his side. Guy threaten to say he would not represent my son. If my son did not go into room by his self with both of them.Totally was on other person side that hurt my son. This man should not be a lawyer. Kayta is wrong going along with it, and I have witness that are speaking up for my son. He license should be taken away. What also hurts that he try to put blame on judge and judge did more for my son than him and paralegal. Don't trust them. And even though they say they are free. Don't believe that they still get paid by the state.

Guy and Kayta are absolute liars!!! They don’t add things to legal documents and then they want to dismiss their services to you when you have to go back to court to address their mistake. Then they lie and say no you agreed to that. Guy wouldn’t even look in my direction before the court proceedings. They claim they’re there to help but they end up hurting you in the process. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I could’ve represented myself and got a better outcome!!!

They are absolutely HORRIBLE, they work with child protective services not with they're clients. They don't get evidence that would help ur case they talk down to you. They don't do basic data entry correct. Can't get names addresses correctly. Let alone help with ur case they botched my family case an my appeal . Michael Kelley didn't get evidence that woult help me nor did he put in the appeals forms what I wanted because my rights were violated by the judge an him an Christina Sorenson who also didn't get the evidence, She came into my biggest court hearing of my life with my children late an talking about how she got fired an needed a job. WHILE BOTCHING MY COURT HEARING, Walking around with the other side asking for a job with GAL or CPS then Michael Kelley lied about her bein FIRED.
