In 2014 we hired Theresa Huegel for a closing on a mobile home. A mobile home does not have a deed, it has a title from the Department of Motor Vehicles. I did not realize, as a customer, at that time the title should have been signed over to the buyer (my son) and also the lien release from the seller should have been sent to the Department of Motor Vehicles so that they could update the ownership. This was not done by the attorney, Theresa Huegel. As a real estate lawyer, she should have known. Fast-forward to 2025 when we attempt to sell the mobile home.
