Your best bet is to avoid court completely. If you cannot avoid court, pick a lawyer from out of town. They will play softball and drag out the process as long as possible to make as much money as possible.

Phil Lawrence does not play! We retained him over the phone on Thursday afternoon and he filed 4 Motions before 4:00 PM and had us in Court the next afternoon. The Judge actually rescinded his order which is not something they normally do however, the young man that was a plaintiff was not an honest person and the Judge was not very happy with him. Anyway, we had to go back two weeks later. Mr. Lawrence has always been RIGHT ON TOP of everything and we came out of the courtroom the second time winners. Mr. Lawrence is straight and to the point.
