William “Bill” Chellis and his amazing team handled my recent real estate purchase in Sullivan county. As an attorney myself I hold the lawyers I hire (and their staff) to a very high standard. I used Bill Chellis as my attorney for a house I purchased in Jeffersonville. I was a first-time homebuyer and did not know a lot about the process; Bill and his employees guided me through it step-by-step and helped me negotiate with the seller’s representatives. I felt a huge sense of relief and was very pleased with the process. I have since recommended him to another friend for a home purchase, too. I plan to use him again if I ever get around to buying house #2!

Around 5 years ago I filed for disability at this law office and upon denial I was mailed a letter that informed me I was implored to seek other counsel. This was a huge slap in the face as my disability has severely worsened in pain and functionality and I have been denied once again by social security. Do not seek counsel with this firm for disability claims, seek proper attorneys who specialize in such cases (not real estate). Be cautious. This firm may only consider those who they may profit off of.

I've now worked with Bill as both a buyer and a seller; both experiences were excellent. The office has always been prompt and responsive to any concerns or questions I had, everyone is friendly, and Bill works quickly. Don't think I'd use any other attorney in Sullivan County.
