Richard Hess is really an expert in estate planning. He made estate planning easy even for me, an immigrant, where English is not my first language. He also has a free consultation and his staff is very friendly. He used his years of expertise to steer me in the right direction for my specific estate plan. Richard is fun and will make you laugh. Many years ago he was an engineer and also an ER nurse, and he draws on these past careers to give exceptionally unique valuable advice.

I have used Mr. Hess twice, once for a living trust and once to set up a power of attorney. As someone who would not normally speak highly of the average attorney, I can sincerely recommend him to anyone seeking such services. He is a pleasure to work with, and puts the client at ease.

This attorney is so good! He explains in detail, takes his time to ensure you understand and helps explore options followed by examples of situations he’s seen clients in. He’s a pleasure to work with and our referrals were pleased and have recommended him as well. He does not assign you piles of forms to complete.

Cannot recommend this guy at all. He overcharges for his cookie cutter trust documents, and on top of that he is egotistical, does not take zoom calls, and caused a lot of trouble for our family. This is one someone you want to work with during a time of grief.
