My experience with Shelley Campen Brown as our Parenting Coordinator was professional, direct, and fair. While I did not always agree with every decision, they were transparent, clearly explained, and grounded in the Parenting Coordinator guidelines and our court order. I chose Shelley as our parent coordinator because she sounded good on the phone. But I couldn't more strongly advise you to choose someone else. She didn't even respond to emails or return voicemails for the last 3+ months of her 2 year appointment. The first couple of rulings did take both parents' wishes into account. But, after some private contact with my ex's lawyer over a decision she didn't like, things quickly changed. After that, Mom was always taken at her word and given anything she requested. And nothing I said or refuted was believed, even when I provided evidence. I'm not sure whether this was cronyism or some gender bias (or a bit of both), or if she just took a disliking to me. If you’re a father looking for a a lawyer I do not recommend. I hired this law firm to assist in a divorce and child custody. I felt I was basically being told you settle on things I did not agree on. The lawyer in this firm and myself signed an agreement that stated maybe things that were breached and or not followed, I never received any monthly itemized reports for what my retainer was spent on, the app I was told to use called my case was never updated, I was never requested funds once my retainer fell less than $1,000 which was sort of the signed agreement. It was just a mess in regards to the signed agreement and what my retainer was spent on or used for with no show of records until I wished to withdraw from using the firm and charged an extra close to $2200 that was never requested
