The reason I am leaving a review is because I hired Scott based on his Google reviews and I don’t want others to make the same mistake. My son got a DUI and I decided to pay Scott instead of using a public defender. My son has never been in trouble, and made a stupid mistake, just slightly above the legal limit, but the law is the law. We had one initial court date and then got scheduled for the next one. On the next court date, we kept waiting for him and he didn’t show up. I was in court with my son texting my sister and she called his office and said “isn’t Scott supposed to be in court?” Amazingly! he showed up 10 minutes later and apologized to the judge, because he thought it was a clerk of court that called him, the judge didn’t know what he was talking about. Highly recommend for all dui cases! Scott's knowledge of the field was top notch. He minimized my sentence & did a great deal bargaining on my behalf. Pricing was very fair , especially compared to other lawyers.

Since I had used him before to represent me on a Dui charge before and he did do great work with that one and seeing as he is so highly recommended I decided to hire him on a current situation. This time was different. He did very little as to trying to contact witnesses and basically waited for the prosecution to offer a deal that did very little to my benefit. I believe he could have done better in my case and after talking with other attorneys ( after the fact)(more than one) feel that after the money was exchanged there was little that was done on my behalf for my case. At which point I could not afford to hire another attorney and couldn't get the money back from him as his contract states if you fire him he keeps it or if he decides to quit he keeps it.
