Didn’t have a great experience here. Went to him for a step parent adoption, which should have been straight forward had he known what he was doing. I don’t think he did there were multiple mistakes made throughout our case, some of which I caught…I have no legal background whatsoever. I’ll admit there were some issues out of our control but given the average cost of step parent adoption I feel we were massively overcharged. When we had concerns about the costs he had a meeting with us where he more or less talked down to us the whole time, but at that point we were too far in to start with someone else. It ended up costing over 13 K.

This guy is the worst person I have met in my entire life. He told me I would walk away free on my charge of possession of marijuana and I got 3 years in state prison. He also charged me almost 10k by the end of it all. My public defender in the beginning would have been free and gotten me a much better deal. The max time was supposed to be one year county time. Richard sold me out to the court so he could get two other clients out of trouble. I found out once I got locked up. He should be disbarred. I’m just glad to be free to write this 3 years later. Beware at all costs.

Biggest mistake was not reading this guys review. All this guy seen was $$ signs knowing I am in the union and he knowing he will get paid regardless. This guy is just a paper pusher and talks to you like your pos. He gave me absolutely no legal advice in my divorce or custody battle beside you should not have cum in her. Stay away from him it’s not worth it!

I would have to say that this is the shadiest lawyer I have ever retained. I used him for a divorce, and Richard saw nothing but dollar signs. It breaks my heart that there are people in the world like this. I would highly recommend using different counsel at all costs.
