Law Office of Malcolm B. Robinson Jr

Mr. Malcolm at first made me feel confident in his work. I needed assistance with obtaining a copy of my fathers WILL.He was really nice to me and friendly. The problem came when he found out my brother had already filed my father's WILL with the court. The only thing he had done was typed up the papers to file with the court.Over a week had passed and the papers weren't filed.I asked him if I filed the papers myself and he just return the filing fee. When I tried contacting him he began ignoring my calls. I had to get my other lawyer firm to call him and he answered very quickly for them. This experience didn't make me feel comfortable knowing a lawyer can have your money then ignore your phone calls. I had to constantly ask when can I at least get my filing fee back? DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN! He is unprofessional, unresponsive, and unorganized. I had emailed, texted, and called him for months regarding my mom’s estate case and a handwriting specialist. I had to call him private to get a response and then he’d say he needs to look up the case and call me back, and he never did. He went to court on my behalf without consulting with me first, never sent me an he court docs, and provided a write up about what happened at court where he had done nothing I asked. He thought he was getting another $2k to go back to court for me…NO WAY! I found a new attorney who is on their business. I’ve filed a complaint with the Louisiana Bar Association on him.

I would like my paperwork or my money I gave him for drawing up and filing it plus giving him money for court cost. It was for succession i had to file and i am not stretching when I say it took every penny I could scrape together. I am 76 years old, widow, live on social security. How can he get by with this?

DO NOT HIRE THIS CLOWN. HE'S A GET OVER LAWYER. HE WILL ALWAYS TALK ABOUT COURT FEES AND FILING PRICES MORE THAN THE ACTUAL CASE. I PAID HIM $1000 AND HE HAVENT FILED NOTHING ON MY CASE. I HAD TO GET ANOTHER LAWYER TO DO HIS WORK THAT HE HAD BEEN LYING TO ME ABOUT, OVER 7 MONTHS. HE NEED TO RETIRE. ASAP.😡😡😡😡😡

I tried for 3 years to get a copy of a Succession completed by his office. I STILL don't have a copy. Malcolm does NOT call you back.
