As the respondent in a family court matter where Joyce Phoenix represented the petitioner, I found her conduct during the hearing to be unprofessional and concerning. While I was on the stand, her questioning included sarcastic remarks and commentary rather than straightforward factual questions, creating an unnecessarily hostile and intimidating environment. Additionally, Ms. Phoenix repeatedly referred to her own client and the child involved by incorrect names and appeared unable to recall basic identifying information in the case. I've used Joyce Phoenix on several occasions and she and her colleagues have helped me out tremendously!!!. Til now I haven't I had or been in trouble since!!!

Mrs. Joyce Phoenix is a court appointed lawyer and has made it harder on the black community, she should be banned from any court. She has failed the system and the individuals she represents nor does she use any evidence to support the allegations that are made. She works with the prosecutors and district attorney’s and does not defend her clients. She has failed time and time again. Please don’t use her counseling. She will only embarrass you and make you suffer harsh punishments.

If there's a possible way of giving her a negative I would. She doesn't do anything to help and takes her job as a joke. If your looking to spend your money and flush it down the toilet she's definitely the right choice for you. Learn from others mistakes.

Ms. Phoenix helped my husband with an enforcement AND got him custody of his son. We are beyond grateful to her. We (and our entire family) are #teamphoenix for life!
