I chose Joe, and his awesome staff on the recommendation of a family friend who said he is the best in SE Massachusetts. I worked closely with Dawn, who went above and beyond! She answered all of my emails, spoke with me on the phone (even on her lunch breaks), and kept me up-to-date on everything. She was great! I also worked with Tracy briefly, who was very nice and helpful as well! - The retainer & fees were explained up-front - Billing was clear and seemed very fair - Emails & phone calls & other questions were answered promptly - The staff was very friendly and great to work with - Joe, even though we only spoke a few times, was very polite and offered great advice All and all I was very happy with the service, and would happily recommend them to anyone.

I retained Joe Michaud for a conveyance on a trust property and provided $1K retainer. Shortly after, I decided not to keep the property but to sell it instead. On day of sale closing, I expected to receive a full refund of the retainer since all closing fees were deducted from the proceeds of the sale. I didn’t realize it wasn’t included in the check until I went home that day and reviewed the closing statement more closely. I immediately contacted Joe’s office and was told by the paralegal I had been working with that it would be promptly handled. Needless to say, weeks went by with no refund or communication with me. After numerous calls and emails, I finally received a check 4 weeks later that was only for $380 because they erroneously deducted for invoices I had already paid.

Extremely disatified with this Law Offices entire practice.. I was a client for a simple custody case and was charged over $3,000.00 (in cash & money owed) I was charged $80.00 to $125.00 for each and every two minute long phone call as well we similar amounts for a 2 sentence email. I never received a bill in the mail saying what was owed nor a phone call or anything. The only letter I received was from another attorneys office but Never anything from them directly. They were unwilling to work with me on payments at all and when I was unable to pay the amount in full they referred it to a collections attorney and "wiped their hands clean of it." Absolutely absurd and be very careful using them for any type of case as they are terrible. Please be warned; I just don't want anyone else to
